Beloved Sanspoof
I’ve adopted a cat.
A kitten, specifically. My mother took him in after being found by her building security. He seems to be about 8 weeks old, and is in healthy condition (besides ear mites, fleas, and parasites.. not unexpected for a stray!) Luckily a visit to the vet has all of that wrapped up now.

Cute animal. Bizarre name, which sounds like “Franglais” for without queer or something. I assume it’s game related.

The receptionist at the vet wrote down his name as “Sanspoo” .. hah, wishful thinking. Yes, it’s game related.. Sanspoof was the name of a racing cat owned by the cat tracks’ owner (his favorite, actually.) The story of Sanspoof in the game is that he was killed during the maiden voyage of an airship built by the track owner when the airship fell from the sky and crashed onto the tracks. I’m worried, though, that I may have jinxed my cat.. I haven’t seen any blimps in a while though!
