The fact is that the government there is so weak that our army is the only thing holding it up. Without us, it would collapse and whoever has a gun big enough would take power. Many people go around saying we have no business meddling in other country's affairs. But the hard fact is that SOMEONE has to. As we get into this modern age, the world stage is like a group of children, and if someone strong doesn't step in to keep everyone in line, we could have a little Lord of the Flies going on.
